After four long years, Hunar Gandhi is returning home for the holidays. And the actress for television has plans to take full advantage of it. She took a break from her agenda and joined us as we went holiday shopping at Gurgaon's Galleria Market. The actress donned a few kurtas and gobbled up chaat. "For me, festivals are all about mithai, clothes, and people coming together," she explains. I'm a Delhi girl, so I miss the holiday spirit when I'm not in the city at this time of year. I also miss the food, especially the golgappas.

She informs us that she intends to host a family gathering since she hasn't been here for the celebrations in a while. "I'm going to make dinner for them at this gathering. I have learned to make some dishes, such as coconut ladoos, so I reasoned that chalo ab seekha hai toh bana bhi lenge," she continues.

Hunar continues by saying that since COVID, her attitude toward festivals has changed. "It has significantly changed me as well. After two years, people are gathering to celebrate, and I believe this is positive. Because of the widespread crisis we experienced as a result of the pandemic, the majority of our perspectives on holidays have changed. This time, I can see gatherings. In the end, it all comes down to happiness and bringing people together. I've also discovered that we should value our time rather than take it for granted. Many of us took spending time with our families for granted, but in my opinion, the main purpose of festivals is to enjoy family time. Even today, some people prefer working on festivals; I used to be one of them, but now I think I'd prefer to take the day off to spend it with my loved ones. What has changed for me is that I don't want to miss out on that any longer," she says.
