On Thursday morning, migrant labours who reached Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh by special train looted fruits from wholesale vegetable and fruit market. Workers were seen eating looted fruits as if they were hungry for several days.

The train was stopped at Bilaspur Station Outer. Adjacent to the outer is the wholesale market for fruits and vegetables, where the workers attacked. At first, even the merchants showed humanity and said nothing to them. However, they were also afraid of infection. Later, when the number of workers started increasing, the traders protested and turned away. The workers also told their agony about food and water in trains. Madan Kharsan and Devkumar Sahu, residents of Mohgaon village of Janjgir-Champa, said that food was given by railways in Jhansi.

Apart from this, the same situation is in other states and labour special trains. Amid the lockdown and the scorching heat, the labours got a place in the special train, after the journey of an hour, the train has no arrangement of food and water. Troubled passengers created a ruckus at Unnao railway station. The workers of the Shramik Special train vandalized the station. Hundreds of passengers had created a ruckus at the station. Angry passengers broke the doors and glass of the station master's room. Seeing the angry mob, the railwaymen fled to save their lives, while the station master got hurt. A heavy police force including RPF and GRP was deployed at the station. It was found that the train was going from Bangalore City to Swank Gopalapuram Halt.
