Lucknow: A student in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit, hurt by molestation, committed suicide by hanging herself in her own house. On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case, which was a 16-year-old girl studying in class 11. She went to school by bicycle every day. A young man named Sanjay of the village used to molest her while coming to school. Which made her very upset. 

The family members of the deceased girl alleged that Sanjay had been harassing their daughter for quite some time. Tried to convince him many times, but he could not deter his antics. If our daughter went to some relative, he used to reach there too. Police have registered a case against the accused youth under other sections including abetment to suicide.

The accused is said to be absconding at present and police are trying to nab him, he will be arrested soon. Superintendent of Police (SP) Dinesh P said an FIR has been lodged against three on the complaint of the deceased's father. There was a long-standing conversation between the deceased and the accused. The police are investigating every aspect.
