The matter which has recently come out of Vanwala village of Bijnor district has shocked everyone. In this case, a young man, along with the brother-in-law, tried to kill his wife but he could not succeed. In this case, the young man attacked the woman with a hammer, after which the wife was bled. Both considered the woman dead and threw her in the bushes along the canal on Bundki Road and ran away. Just then, the rickshaw driver who was going through the route took the injured woman to the police station, from where she was admitted to the district hospital.

In this case, the police investigated, "Gurpreet Kaur (25) daughter Nishawar Singh, resident of village Netthavali in Nagina Dehat police station area, was married to Gursevak Singh, resident of village Vanwala in the area in 2011. After 2 years of marriage, they both had a son. After 3 years of marriage, Gursavek died in a road accident. 40 bigha land of husband's share came in the name of the woman. In the greed that the land did not go out of hand, his brother-in-law proposed marriage to his sister-in-law. In 2014, Gurpreet Kaur was married to brother-in-law Gurjunt Singh. After this, she had another son. The woman alleges that her husband had an affair with a woman, due to which he started harassing her. He used to beat and vulgarize her on small matters. Her husband and brother-in-law Gurjit Singh resident of Najibabad planned to kill her.

In this case, she further said, "On Saturday, husband and Nandoi started taking her in the car and taking her to Najibabad as an excuse to get clothes. They stopped the car near the canal on Bundki Marg. They got down from the car and started hitting her head with the hammer already placed in the car. When the passers-by tried to save her, they too scared them and drove them away. Assuming the woman was dead, the accused threw her into the bushes along the canal and went away. An hour later, when she regained consciousness, she sought help from passers-by. A rickshaw driver passing by took her to the Adarshnagar police outpost in Najibabad." Now the police started a probe in this case by filing a report against Gurjant Singh and Gurjit Singh on the complaint of the victim's elder brother Gurmeet Singh.
