"Her husband beat her up when she did not agree to a physical relationship in the bathroom and the in-laws are physically and mentally harassing her," the woman said in her complaint.

According to reports, the 19-year-old victim complained that "she was married four months ago and he started to torture her a few days after the in-laws demanded additional dowry. Sometimes he woke up late at night and beat him apart from harassing her, demanding her dowry from her mother."

The woman also said in her allegations that "Not only that, her brother-in-law sexually abused her. When she was alone at home, Jeth took advantage of her to sexually abuse her, and on several occasions her husband forcibly sexually assaulted her," the woman said in her complaint, "Once she was beaten up for not agreeing to have sex in the bathroom and later she was beaten up and later her husband sexually assaulted her." The police have now registered a case and are under investigation.
