Lucknow: A sensational case of a husband committing suicide after killing his wife near Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow has come to light. Police have seized the bodies of the husband and wife and sent them for post-mortem. Police are trying to find out about the dispute between the two before the incident.

According to the police, the case has been reported from Lalta Khera in Malihabad, a rural area of Lucknow. Rural Zone Superintendent of Police (SP) Hridesh Kumar informed that the deceased woman's name was Chandni. She was married near Attari under the Mal police station area. According to the information, Chandni's health was bad for the last one month. That's why she came to her house. On Friday, Chandni's husband Chandrabhan had come to meet his wife with a bike around 3 pm. Police believe that Chandrabhan may have asked Chandni to go along. After which there must have been a heated argument between the two and Chandrabhan shot Chandni near the neck and chest with a pistol. After killing his wife, Chandrabhan also shot himself in the head.

According to the police, the family members said there was no one in the house at the time of the incident. A forensic team was also called to investigate the spot. The team is inspecting the spot and collecting evidence. Only after the investigation will we know what happened between the two, which led to the incident. Family members of both sides have also been called to the spot. Police are interrogating both sides.
