Lohardaga: A shocking incident is coming out from Lohardaga in Jharkhand where a man shot dead his wife. The wife repeatedly forbade him to gamble, due to which there was a financial crisis in the house. There used to be a fight between the two regarding this matter. After the incident, the criminal kept trying to mislead the police. When the police strictly questioned him, he confessed to the crime. This incident took place in Chandkopa village of the Senha police station area. The police have arrested the criminal husband.
According to the police, the criminal Pramod Prasad had absconded from the house after shooting his wife Ujjwal three times. Thereafter, when the relatives reached the hospital with the woman, the doctors declared her dead. Then the criminal also reached the hospital and started shedding tears. He kept on pretending not to understand who had committed the murder and why. When the police suspected Pramod's gesture, they took him to the police station and questioned him strictly. After this, he told the truth.
Lohardaga SP R Ramkumar said that the woman was killed by three bullets in her house. The criminal husband kept trying to mislead the police. The relatives of the woman have given statements. While confessing to the crime, the criminal Pramod has cited a mutual dispute as the reason behind the murder. There used to be conflicts between the two. There was a financial problem in the house, he had also taken a loan due to the huge loss, and the criminal used to remain frustrated. The police have also recovered the pistol used in the incident at the instance of the criminal. The family members of the deceased woman told that whenever Ujjwal Devi stopped Pramod from gambling, he used to quarrel with her. Ujjwala had told this thing many times to the people of her maternal home. Pramod had lost a lot of money in gambling this year. The matter is now being investigated by the police.
