Etah (UP), May 16: Police said, A 25-year-old woman was killed and her husband injured when the motorbike they were riding collided with a tractor-trolley at Aliganj in the district.
The couple, identified as Dileep (26) and Lata, were taken to a nearby hospital but were later transferred to another hospital in Farrukhabad, they said, adding Lata succumbed to her injuries on the way.
The tragic incident occured at last night.
The driver of the vehicle fled the spot after the accident, police said. Police further added, an FIR has been lodged, and no arrest has been made so far in this connection.
