Recently, in a Greater Noida village, a 32-year-old man has allegedly choked his wife to death after she got failed to prepare the breakfast to form him on time. The man murdered his wife with her own scarf in front of their children. After knowing about the incident neighbors of the couple rushed the women to a private hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

According to the reports, the accused husband, Mukesh Kumar, lived in a rented accommodation in Kulesra village with his wife Rekha (28) and a son (7) along with his daughter (5). Mukesh works in a private company, who, as told by the police, often fought with his homemaker wife over small matters. 

On Saturday also the duo had a fight after Rekha got delayed for preparing the breakfast. According to the SHO of Ecotech III police station, Rajpal Singh Tomar said that the husband-wife couple had a heated argument following which the woman chose to leave the house and visit her mother's place. While inspecting the house, the police officials stated that they found a packed bag which means she had already packed her bags and was trying to leave the house with the kids when Mukesh blocked her way. He then grabbed hold of the woman's scarf and coiled it around her neck. He then pulled the two ends of the scarf with all his power, and the woman collapsed.

The eyewitness of the murder, the couples two children raised an alarm and alerted their neighbours. As the neighbours came into the house, Mukesh escaped the house. After this, the neighbours took Rekha to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Police officers said that they were informed about the incident by the neighbours and a team visited the couple's house in Kulesra village. The cops hunted for Mukesh, but he was untraceable.

On Sunday morning, a police team stopped Mukesh near Kulesra Pushta and held him. SHO Tomar said that they have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the IPC. The arrested was presented in court and remanded in judicial custody.
