Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Shahjahanpur. In the case, An insane husband shot his wife and son with a licensed gun due to domestic strife on Wednesday night at village Inderpur in Katra police station area of the district and the husband also shot himself dead.
According to reports, the injured mother and son have been admitted to the district hospital where the condition of both of them remains critical. According to reports, the police sent the body for post-mortem and the gun was seized and the case is under investigation.
Superintendent of Police Subhash Chandra Shakya has spoken in the case and said that "Inderpur resident Ompal (45), a village resident of Thanakshetra, had a dispute with wife Meera on Wednesday night. In anger, Ompal shot his wife Meera (38) and Chandrapal (14) with a licensed 12-bore gun. With the pellets, Chandrapal and Meera fell in blood."
The injured were reported to have been injured during the investigation and that Ompal had been seriously disturbed and intoxicated. He was also addicted, which made him often angry.
In the case, the wife at the district hospital said that "the husband had a licensed gun which was deposited by the husband at the police station during the election." "On Wednesday, he was brought home with the same gun and shot him and his son," the police said in connection with the incident.
