Husband's body did not come to India in 100 days, from Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad: Narasa Reddy of Telangana is from Sirnapalli village in Indaly mandal in Nizamabad district. Last November, he died in Saudi Arabia. It has been more than three months since his death. But his body has not come to India yet.

Narasa Reddy's family has been tired of cutting around the offices of politicians and officials for the last three months. Now, Narasa Reddy's wife has approached the Telangana High Court in this regard. and the migrant Mitra Labor Union petition. It wants Narasa Reddy's body to be brought to India immediately from Saudi Arabia.

Four days after his death, his family members applied to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Delhi, the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Telangana government's NRI cell to retrieve his body on November 5. Vontari Lakshmi and her family also appealed to legislators, MPs, MLCs and ministers to cooperate in this matter, but no one came to their aid.

The migrant labour leader arrived in Hyderabad with his family in February and met human rights activist P Shashi Kiran. With his help, he filed a writ petition in the High Court. In a writ petition filed on February 4, the Foreign Ministry, the Secretary of Government of India and the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were made defendants. The petitioners asked the court to direct the Indian government to send Narasa Reddy's body to Telangana from Saudi.
