The speculations concerning the financial dispute for BTS' show in Busan in October have been addressed by HYBE and subsequently BTS. Recently, when the performance tickets went on sale, it was claimed that every single one of them sold out within minutes, further demonstrating the septet's fame around the world. However, initial worries about the planned site for a crowd this size led to a shift in the venue from Ilgwang Special Stage to Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Even after that, there was still talk about the concert's costs, and HYBE has since corrected the rumours in a fresh statement.

A significant percentage of the costs will be covered by corporate sponsors, internet streaming commercials, THE CITY subsidiary firm, etc., according to HYBE. They have also disclosed that the remaining costs will be paid for by the business. A free concert for their fans is something BTS has always wanted to do, thus they will also not be charging any performance fees.

In their statement, HYBE noted how even in the past, when working on initiatives involving the interest of the country, BTS did not take into account the cost because it was government money but rather concentrated on delivering high-quality results. They continued by saying that HYBE and BTS are proud of what they do for the country. They won't skimp on the quality and will make every effort to make sure the Busan concert plays a significant role in helping Busan win the bid for the 2030 World EXPO.
