New Delhi: The common people buy bikes, but the constantly increasing petrol prices affects their pocket. The companies are also giving more emphasis on electric vehicles after the pulse of the people. Companies also want electric bikes to be marketed instead of petrol bikes to attract customers.

The company that launches this electric bike claims that the bike can travel up to 100 kilometres in an expenditure of just 7 to 10 rupees. It is a low-speed electric bike.  The motorcycle has been built in the market by Hyderabad's electric vehicle company Atumobile Pvt. Ltd. The company has launched the bike called Atum 1.0.  Atum 1.0 has been recognised by the International Centre for Automotive Technology.   The Atum 1.0 Electric Bike price is Rs 50,000.

The biggest feature of this bike is that you won't need a driving licence to run it. Also, there is no need to register on buying this bike. That means the customer will have to pay the price of the bike only once. The Atum 1.0 electric bike comes with a portable lithium-ion battery, which is full charged in 4 hours. As a company, the bike can travel up to 100 kms when full charge is made. The company is also offering a two-year warranty on the battery.
