Hyderabad attracted two major investments in Genome Valley. With this investment, Hyderabad will increase the next level of development in Pharma. Granules India has invested Rs 400 crore to set up a completed dosage unit while Larus Labs is investing Rs 300 crore for the manufacturing facility.
Granules India is a ce shada of Hyderabad. The company will invest Rs 400 crore to establish a manufacturing facility capable of making 10 billion units of completed doses. The proposed unit will employ about 1,600 people.
Speaking about Granules India, we learned that the company already has manufacturing sites in eight locations and has a presence in 75 countries worldwide. The company is already running the world's largest commercial pharmaceutical pharmaceutical formulation intermediates (PFI) facility in Gagillapur near Hyderabad. The announcement was formally held at Pragati Bhavan by Granules India CMD Krishna Prasad Chigurupathi today with IT & Industry Minister K T Rama Rao.
