Union Minister Kishan Reddy and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed 9,451 sq ft 50 bedded hospital under Telangana Vaidya Vidhan at Ameerpet with an advanced facility of Community Health Center. A statue of Mahatma Gandhi was also unveiled in the hospital premises. Other services including ECG and X-ray, operation theatre, oxygen beds and outpatient are made available to the public in this health centre. The hospital was built at a cost of Rs 4.53 crore.

“I thank the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, for immediately agreeing to upgrade this six-bed facility to a 50-bed facility. Very soon, we are also going to start a free dialysis facility, which will be a boon to the urban poor in the neighboring areas,” said Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Minister of Animal Husbandry, who inaugurated the building along with Union Minister of Culture, G. Kishan Reddy. said.

On the other hand, BJP leaders staged a sit-in protest against the placement of Kishan Reddy on the back plank. He alleged that the name of the Union Minister should be included on the front as per protocol on the inaugural plaque. There was a slight commotion near the hospital. After this the police swung into action and drove away the workers of both the sides.
