HYDERABAD: The mystery surrounding the murder of two migrant workers from Jharkhand has been solved by Hyderabad police.

A man from Jharkhand has also been arrested for the duo's murder during a quarrel over coming home. Following the murder, the accused considered suicide and turned on two cooking gas cylinders and ignited a fire, but was terrified by the flames and leaped out a window.

The case was primarily suspected to be an accidental gas leak, but after 17 days of investigation, the police arrested the accused -- Bhuvaneswar Singh.

On July 26, the incident occurred on the first floor of a three-story structure in Ram Reddy Nagar, within the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate's Jeedimetla police station.

Locals reported hearing a loud explosion in the unit, followed by smoke and fire. Police recovered two bodies after fire crews arrived to extinguish the flames. Beerender Kumar Singh (27) and Ibadath Ansari (27) were recognised (37). 
Bhuvaneswar Singh, Kaleemuddin and  Imamuddin had jumped out of the windows to save themselves from the fire.
Police suspected foul play after autopsy reports revealed damage signs on the dead and began questioning the survivors. The disturbing revelations were disclosed during the subsequent investigation.
