Hyderabad: A maha dharna of opposition parties was held today demanding the Center to swap all anti-people policies. 19 political parties and 20 mass organizations participated in the dharna and the dharna was organized in the Indira Park area of ​​Hyderabad. The leaders of the Left parties, Congress, TDP, TJS and New Democracy, who took part in the dharna, lashed out at the state and central governments for their anti-people policies.

CPI(M) secretary Sitaram Yechury raised the issue of Modi's foreign tours and suspected that there was some hidden agenda behind him. He said the parties fear that he might sell something during his foreign travels. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was "destroying" the four pillars of democracy that protected the Constitution. The CPI(M) leaders claimed that the stock of food grains in the godowns was lying idle. He demanded the Center to announce an economic package of Rs 7,500 crore for the families affected by the corona virus.

Commenting on all opposition parties coming together, he said that they have joined hands "not to do opportunistic politics, but to protect the country". And to save the country, a national level civil society movement has been started. Thammineni Veerabhadram (CPI), Chada Venkata Reddy (CPI), Sitaram Itchuri (CPM), Konkala Narayan (CPI), Bakkani Narasimhulu (TDP), Prof. Kodanda Ram (TJS) and Congress leaders Revanth Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other leaders.
