Hyundai Creta has come in the Indian market with a new generation for the year 2020 and it is giving a tough competition to Kia Seltos in terms of features, design and driving dynamics. The Kia Seltos became an instant hit in the Indian market after its launch in August 2019 and has now decided to lengthen the list of features in its lower variants of the Kia Seltos for 2020, so that it can come with more features than the base variant itself and could compete with Hyundai Creta.

Variants of Kia Seltos come in two lineups - HT Line and GT Line. It comes in 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine HT line variants - HTE, HTK, HTK +, HTX and HTX +. Better equipment comes in GT line variants (GTK, GTX and GTX +) which comes with 1.4 liter turbo-petrol engine. Kia has also included the diesel auto powertrain option in the top specification GTX + variants.

USB charging ports have been given on all the variants in the front and rear of the updated Kia Seltos. Additional remote engine start has also been given which is connected to the main engine and it comes in all automatic variants after HTK +. Other updates include a leather-mounted gear knob, gloss black dashboard and dual muffler design in HTK + variants. Kia has now given a climate control panel with the Seltos and a metal garnish on the handle to hold which now starts with the HTX variant. The biggest change is that the company has now given an electric sunroof in it, which is a more economical feature. The company has also started providing LED room lamps with HTX and GTX variants.
