The Hyundai company holds the first world record. Hyundai's Kona which is an electric SUV car has recorded a record in the Guinness Book. Hyundai Electric received the award for successfully completing the drive at Savula Pass in Tibet at an altitude of 5,731 meters. The Kona is the first electric car to drive at such an altitude. In India, this car comes with a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery.

It is worth noting that this car has been brought in the market of many special features, which has created a new place in the electric car market. Hyundai Kona will run 452 km once full charge. This is a fairly good range for the upcoming electric trains. Kona Electric can be fully charged in 6 hours 10 minutes with a normal charger.

Talking about its charging speed, this electric SUV will be charged 80% in 57 minutes with DC fast charger. Despite being an electric car, the Kona speed is not low. The company claims that this electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.7 seconds. Its top speed is 200 kilometers per hour.
