The base variant of the Hyundai Kona EV will be powered by a 39.2 kWh battery. which will give a range of up to 300 km. It will take 6 hours to fully charge. The 39.2kWh battery pack produces 134PS of power and 335Nm of torque. It will take 9.3 seconds for the base variant to catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph. The Kona also has a powerful 64 kWh battery that generates 204 PS of power and 395Nm of torque. This battery will take 9 hours to fully charge. The Hyundai Kona EV will also have a high-performance 1000 kW DC fast charger, which takes 54 minutes for the battery level to charge 80 percent.

As per the information received, only the base variant of Hyundai Kona will be launched in the Indian market.
