Reports said that the Grand i10 diesel engine and petrol-CNG engine variants will be discontinued in the coming months, i.e. the Grand i10 will be available only in petrol engines. At the same time, the company will also launch the new car, that is, the Grand i10 NIOS with the petrol-CNG engine.
The company has provided a 1.2-liter petrol engine in this car, which generates 82 bhp power at 6,000rpm and 114 Nm torque at 4,000rpm. Its diesel engine is also 1.2-liter, which generates 74 bhp power at 4,000rpm and 190 Nm torque at 1,750-2,250rpm. Reports said that a 1.2-liter petrol engine with BS4 can be given in the CNG variant of the Grand i10 NIOS. This engine is available in the CNG variant of the Grand i10. In the CNG version, this engine generates 65 bhp power and 98 Nm torque.
