"I advised Raju Shrivastava to take care of himself" : Shekhar Suman

A recent post by Shekhar Suman provided an update on his friend Raju Srivastava's health. On the sets of the show India's Laughter Champion, the two people first met two weeks ago.

Shekhar said, "Three days ago, Raju showed improvement by moving his fingers, and he is currently stable. I'm hoping he gets better and that his health gets even better."

Raju had visited the India's Laughter Champion sets about 15 days prior, and we had a lengthy conversation in my vanity van. I had noticed that he had lost some strength, and I also suggested that he ease up a bit and stop pushing himself too hard. He was fine, but I did advise him to take good care of himself. He claimed everything was fine and he had no ailments. And then, after 15 days, we learned the shocking news that he had been admitted to the hospital. I have known Raju for almost 25 years, and in the 1990s, we collaborated on the fictional television show Reporter. He is a great guy, and I am confident that he will soon make a full recovery because the entire country is praying for him. I keep in touch with Raju's nephew and family, and he is a very talented and skilled man.

Shekhar is currently working as one of the judges for India's Laughter Champion alongside Archana Puran Singh. He stated: "I like evaluating comedy shows. We also require new people every day and need to promote new talent."
