The celebrity couple from Diya Aur Baati Hum who wed themselves made news. A few days ago, Kanishka posted pictures of herself wearing vermilion and a mangalsutra (a sacred string worn around the neck), which sparked discussion on social media. The actress said that she made this choice "consciously," and she wrote, "The only person I am in love with is ME, hence I am married to ME since I have accomplished all of my goals on my own. I will never require a man."

In addition, Kanishka Soni's comment stated: "I enjoy spending time in seclusion and alone time with my guitar. Thank you #goddess #ganga #pure #forever #womenempowerment #strongwomen #riverganga #serene #puresoul #girlswithtattoos #girlpower. I am the goddess, Strong & Powerful, Shiva & Shakti everything is inside ME." She displayed her newlywed appearance while letting loose while donning a baby pink t-shirt and jeans.

Kanishka recently celebrated her birthday in New York City and even posted images and videos taken near the Brooklyn Bridge. Later, Kanishka Soni posted another video in which she complained that she was getting "harsh" remarks for getting married to herself. Actress from Diya Aur Baati Hum claimed that she was criticized for 'disrespecting' Indian culture. Kanishka, a native of Gujarat, revealed that she had never met a man who kept his promises; therefore she made the decision to live alone.

"I know you guys have been raising lots of questions on my #selfmarriage decision, I truly believe in Indian culture & here is my POV that why I chose to live in solitude, marriage is not about sex it's about love and honesty one seeks for & I have lost that faith & believe, " Kanishka Soni wrote in her post. It's better to love yourself than to search for it in the difficult-to-find outside world, but thank you for making my post trend on Google and in the news; it wasn't my intention, and some people claimed I must have been high on ganja or drunk when I posted it, but let me assure you that I am an Indian at heart I have never tried alcohol or anything else, although working in the film industry for a very long time. This was a choice I took with all of my heart and soul and with complete awareness, and I am grateful that I am now in the USA and concentrating on my profession in HOLLYWOOD.
