Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Vakeel Saab has been in discussion for a long time. Directed by Venu Shriram and produced by Dil Raju, the film is the official Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster Pink, starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. There have been many rumors that Shruti Haasan is a part of the film. However, later, the actor has rubbished all the rumors. In a recent interview given to a major entertainment portal, Shruti has confirmed that she is a part of Vakeel Saab.

Shruti will play the role of Pawan Kalyan's wife in the film, played by Vidya Balan, opposite Ajith in Narthakonda Parvai. He has said that I am a part of Vakeel Saab, Nivetha Thomas is going to be seen playing the role of Taapsee Pannu in this film. Telugu actresses Anjali and Ananya Nagla are reprising the roles of Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Triang from the original Hindi film.

Shruti has also done films like Gabbar Singh and Katamaraidu with Pawan Kalyan. Gabbar Singh was a huge hit, while Katamaraidu failed to impress the audience at the box office. For Vakeel Saab, this is the third time they have teamed up and this news raises expectations. On September 2, the teaser of Vakeel Saab can be released on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan's birthday.
