Lucknow: MajwadiParty (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and industrialists who offered jobs over the 'Agneepath' scheme. On Tuesday, Akhilesh posted two tweets targeting the BJP. In a tweet, he challenged the BJP to release a list of its members and supporters who are going to send their children to become 'Agniveer'.

In another tweet, he attacked industrialists who promised jobs for 'Agniveers', challenging them to immediately provide jobs in their company and offices to today's retired soldiers. Akhilesh, in his tweet, took a dig at the BJP and wrote, "We want to cooperate with those who make such a promise so that the youth can trust the 'promise' of the bigwigs who are making the future promise of giving jobs to agniveers in their companies and offices." '
Akhilesh said, "They (industrialists) are sending them a list of today's retired soldiers immediately. Let them prove the truth and seriousness of their promise by giving those retired soldiers jobs in their companies and offices immediately, so that the future Agniveer can trust them after 4 years. Trust is born out of 'doing', not 'telling'. '
