You must have seen the famous actor of Bollywood films, Akshay Kumar, in the ad of Vimal Cardamom. In this ad, Akshay Kumar was seen along with Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgan. Nothing bad for Shah Rukh and Ajay Devgan, but Akshay Kumar was badly trolled on social media for making this ad. After being surrounded by people's criticism, now Akshay Kumar has made a big announcement.

Apologising to his fans, Akshay Kumar has pulled his hands back from this ad. He announced that he will no longer be the brand ambassador of the tobacco brand (Vimal). Akshay Kumar has informed about his decision through social media posts. Akshay Kumar wrote in the Insta post - Forgive me. I want to apologise to all of you all my fans and well-wishers. Your reaction in the last few days has impressed me a lot. I've never endorsed tobacco, nor will I ever do. I respect your feelings about my association with Vimal Cardamom. So I withdraw from it with all humility.

 

 

He further wrote- "I have decided that I will use the fees I have received for advertising for good work. The brand may continue to onair this ad if it wishes until the legal period of its contract is completed. But I promise to make choices in the future with full understanding. In return, I will always ask for your love and prayers. Let me tell you that this ad of Akshay Kumar has been launched a few days ago. In Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgan welcomed Akshay Kumar to the 'Vimal Universe'. All the three big stars of Bollywood (Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar) came out in an ad for the first time.
