Shark Tank India became one of the most popular television shows when its first season was telecasted. The show became very famous and that’s why the makers are back with the second season of Shark Tank India. However, the Shark are receiving criticism after the first episode of the show Telecasted.

In the first episode of the season, the sharks heard a few interesting pitches and decided to invest in some of them. All the shark got very impressed by a makeup brand, Recode, but was rejected mainly because it was a competitor brand for one shark Vineet makeup brand, Sugar.  All the sharks, except Peyush Bansal, rejected the pitch just because it was from the same industry as Vineeta Singh. They got brutally trolled for not pitching in Vinita Singh’s competitive Brand.

Shark Namita Thapar took to social media and give it back to trolling. She wrote, "Being a shark doesn't mean we are not entitled to our independent values and speaking candidly so if I don't invest in a fellow sharks competition, that's me, no regrets & if I call out toxicity & don't join the ignorant that celebrate people with lack of integrity.. that's me :)."

The Sharks of this season are Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com - People Group), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com), along with new shark - Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder - Cardekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com).
