Patna: Rohini Acharya, daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad, has confirmed that she is going to donate one of her kidneys to save the life of her father who has been suffering from kidney ailments and other ailments for the past several years. On Thursday, there was news that Rohini Acharya is going to donate her kidney to save her father's life. However, on Friday, Rohini confirmed the news of her father donating a kidney to Lalu Prasad on the social media platform Twitter.

Taking to Twitter, Rohini said that she would donate her kidney to her father, with whom she also shared an old photo of her with Lalu when she was very young. Rohini Acharya posted on Twitter "I believe this is just a small piece of meat I want to give to my father. I would do anything for father. You all pray that everything goes well and papa comes again and again raise the voice of the people. Once again thank you all for your wishes.''

In another post, she said, "Father who gives me a voice in this world, who is everything to me, if I can contribute even a small part of my life, I will feel extremely lucky. But there is a God and everyone should perform the duty of serving him". She further wrote, "My parents are God to me. I can do anything for them. Your wishes have made me stronger. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I get special love and respect from everyone. I have become emotional. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you."
