Mumbai: NCP chief Sharad Pawar had given a big statement a few days back regarding the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Sharad Pawar had said that it cannot be said whether this alliance will last till 2024 Lok Sabha elections. After Sharad Pawar's statement, a period of speculations had started regarding the future of this opposition alliance in Maharashtra. Now the statement of Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar has come regarding this.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, Ajit Pawar said in response to a question about the MVA that the unity in the alliance remains intact. He said that everyone has the right to express his views and opinions. Ajit Pawar also made it clear that the decision taken at the highest level in Maha Vikas Aghadi is final. He also said that I can write on a stamp paper that MVA will remain and we will contest the elections together. Ajit Pawar on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's visit to Mumbai, He also answered questions regarding the Enforcement Directorate's interrogation of Maharashtra NCP President Jayant Patil. He said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are coming to Mumbai. Ajit Pawar said that Kejriwal and Mann will meet Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray after reaching Mumbai. He also said that due to the meeting of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann with Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray, he will also be present. 

Ajit Pawar said on the question regarding the interrogation of Jayant Patil by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that all the central agencies have the right to investigate. He said that we should help the central agencies in the investigation. Ajit Pawar said tauntingly that you have seen how many leaders, MPs and Union ministers have already become pure after being washed in the washing machine. Now they sleep peacefully. He said that all I have to say is that no action should be taken with a sense of revenge. Ajit Pawar said that if there is evidence, the agencies have every right to issue notices based on them. In the recent past, several leaders have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. He referred to the Enforcement Directorate's summons to Praful Patel, Anil Deshmukh, Chhagan Bhujbal and said that I do not want to say anything about it. Ajit Pawar said that when raids were conducted on several places related to me, Even then I did not give any statement. Let them do their work and I go on doing mine.
