Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has proved herself and has given many memorable performances in her career. Today, even though Alia is considered one of the most talented actresses in the industry, her name still pops up in the nepotism debate every now and then.

Recently, Higway actress opened up about the same during a media interaction at the Outlook Business Women of Worth (WOW) Awards 2019 ."Nepotism exists in every field. My thoughts on nepotism don't come from a negative place. If you know somebody from a certain field you will always help them."Alia said.

The actress further said, "But having said that, I am so in love with acting and being an actor, I would be devastated if I never got the opportunity."

The diva further said that once you come into the fray, the audience chooses you. "So if you are working, it's not just because you're getting lucky every time. There does go some hard work into that," she said.

She further added,   "As I said, there are no negative thoughts. I can't wake up and say sorry for being born in this family. On the work front, Alia will be next seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank. The period drama has been produced by Karan Johar and also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in vital roles. Apart from this, Alia's first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor ‘Brahmastra’ will also hit the screens this December.
