Actor Prakash Raj, who is contesting for the post of Telugu Movie Artists Association (MAA) president on Tuesday, alleged that the Manchu family was trying to win elections unfairly by taking advantage of the postal ballot system. The veteran actor broke down in front of the media and urged the disciplinary committee to revoke the mandate even before the elections were held.

"The postal ballot system is for senior artistes who live away from the city. There is a bye-law which ensures that the ballot posting is done in an ethical manner, without any abuse of power. But even before the announcement, Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu has collected the signatures of more than 50 artists living in different cities. The Manchu family has also paid the fee for their postal ballot and it is against the bye-laws. I demand fair conduct of elections," Prakash Raj said.

The crying actor said, "Do these people want to win against me? How unethical can these people be? The EC and the MAA's disciplinary committee should immediately take action against the Manchu family. It is doing damage to the entirety of our industry." Moral warp.” Prakash Raj is face-to-face against Vishnu Manchu in the MAA election. Voting for the election is to be held on October 10 and the result will be declared on the same day.
