While the television industry was proud to see one of their own shining brights on an international platform like the Cannes Film Festival 2019, Hina Khan was going through a gamut of overwhelming emotions.

 The star of Kasautii Zindagii Kay2 and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai managed to wow everyone as she set foot on the red carpet of this year?s Cannes Film Festival. However, among all the praising voices, there was a famous media personality whose comment on Hina Khan left everyone enraged.

While everyone TV actors like Pooja Banerjee, Nakuul Mehta and more came out in support of Hina Khan post that, the media personality also apologized. Now, in an interview, Hina Khan managed to somehow articulate what she went through after the nasty comment.

 Hina mentioned that it did break her heart and she also didn?t feel it was needed to be said. She also mentioned that to be at a place like Cannes, one has to do something in life.

Hina said, ?Coming from somebody sitting at such a huge position, it was disheartening. I did feel bad, I won?t deny. I did feel that it was not necessary. You really work hard to reach where you want to reach. You got to do something in life to be here.?

While talking about her Cannes experience and her debut, Hina mentioned that it was overwhelming for her to see the international photographers knowing her name and calling her out on the red carpet. Hina made her Cannes debut in order to launch the poster of her upcoming film, Lines.

In the film, Hina will be seen playing the role of Nazia. It also stars Farida Jalal and Rishi Bhutani and is based on the 1999 Kargil War. It is expected to release in August 2019.
