Srinagar: Former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik has backtracked from his statement regarding PM Narendra Modi. Now Malik has said that he lied. Satyapal Malik has said this in an interview. Let us tell you: Satyapal Malik said in January 2022 that Amit Shah told him that Prime Minister Modi had 'lost his mind'. In fact, during the interview, Karan Thapar questioned Satyapal Malik about his controversial statement regarding the Prime Minister.

In this statement, former Governor Satyapal Malik said about the meeting with PM Modi that "I told him (Modi) that I had died for you. You have become a king because of him. Well, I got into a fight. He said, Meet Amit Shah. I met Amit Shah, and he said, "Satyapal, people have killed his (Modi's) wisdom. You stay carefree, keep meeting, and someday it will be understood. Now in the interview, Satyapal Malik has retracted his own statement.

He said, "I completely lied about the statement related to Amit Shah. He never said anything to me. I take back this statement. He never said anything to me." When Karan Thapar questioned Satyapal Malik again on the same issue, he admitted that he was wrong. Satyapal Malik made objectionable remarks about PM while addressing a programme organised in Dadri, Haryana, in January 2022. He had claimed that he had raised the issue of farmers' deaths during his meeting with the Prime Minister. But PM Modi replied in an arrogant manner. Malik had claimed that his conversation with the Prime Minister turned into an argument within five minutes. Malik claimed that when he told the Prime Minister that more than 500 farmers were killed in the farmer's movement. On this, the PM got angry and said, "Did he die because of me?"

After this statement of former governor Satyapal Malik, the opposition had become an attacker on the Modi government. However, now it has become clear from the recent statements of Satya Pal Malik that none of his statements can be believed.
