'I had to make out with someone I didn't know' says Aditi Rao Hydari on her weirdest audition

last month  Aditi Rao Hydari added another feather in her hat as she was honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her immense contribution to Hindi as well as Southern cinema. The actress had also shared a snap along with her Dadasaheb Phalke Award and written "To my amazing Tamil and Telugu audience... Thank you for the unconditional love... it’s just been two years and it’s been amazing... here is to many more! #DadasahebPhalkeAwards."  

 Now,  the Bhooomi actress recently opened up about her weirdest audition experience on a chat show.

During the audition of Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi, Aditi revealed that she had to make out with a complete stranger. The thriller flick starred Irrfan, Chitrangda Singh and Arunoday Singh.

When host Anaita Shroff Adajania quizzed her about the weirdest audition memory that she has had, Aditi said, "I don't have any whacked out stories from auditions, except the Yeh Saali Zindagi audition where I had to literally make out with someone I didn't know."

The guy in question was actor Arunoday Singh who was eventually cast opposite her. The actress added, "But at that point, I didn't know him and he was a huge Hulk of a guy and I was just like, 'Uh...what's going on here?'" she said, adding that he was "very polite". On the chat show, Aditi also spoke at length about how she wanted to enter the world of acting after watching Mani Ratnam's Bombay.
