After leaving audiences spellbound with her performance in Badhaai Ho, there has been no looking back for actress Neena Gupta. Film offers have lined up and the 59-year-old star is more than hungry to do different roles and essay varied characters.

 Neena Gupta's last performance in Badhaai Ho in 2018 won her the Best Actress- Critics Choice Award at this year’s Filmfare ceremony. In a recent chat with media, Neena Gupta spoke about her next project alongside Kangana Ranaut in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga.

Kangana will be seen as a Kabaddi player in this sports drama and the film also stars Richa Chadha and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. Neena Gupta will play the role of Kangana's mother. When asked if she felt attached to any role, the actress said, "As an actor, I am prepared for every role, that’s my profession. My profession is to change myself according to my role and I work hard on it."

Speaking about her character in Panga, she told, "I have a very small role but whatever it is, it’s very nice. I have a distinct colour for my character. I play Kangana’s mother but I make a difference. It’s a very interesting role."

Apart from Panga, Neena Gupta will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Sooryavanshi. The Akshay Kumar starrer will see Neena Gupta essaying the role of Akshay's mother. The legendary actress had said earlier that her role isn’t of a conventional mother and that the equation between Akshay, Katrina and her would be new and unique.
