According to the news received, a person named Vara Prasad lived with his 16-year-old daughter studying in class 10 in the One Town police station area of ​​Vizag city. A video of Vara Prasad went viral at around 4.30 pm on Friday. In this, he was talking about killing his daughter. When the people of Vara got his video, they informed the One Town Police Station about it. When the police reached Vara's house to know the veracity of the video, his daughter's body was found lying in the house. Along with this, the criminal was also found present at the house.

The police immediately arrested him and sent the body of the minor to the hospital for post-mortem. Police said the minor was strangulated to death with a belt. After the murder, the father shared the video on Instagram. In the video, he was seen saying, "I have killed my daughter because the daughter was having a love affair with the man of the locality. I explained to her several times. But she was not refraining from her actions. She should have focused on his studies and not in a man. I gave her everything she asked for, books, good school and other things. But she still didn't consider it, so I killed her.'' Police investigation revealed that the convict's wife had eloped with another man 13 years ago. A few years ago, her eldest daughter also eloped with a man. After that, he was living with the younger daughter. Seeing the younger daughter going on the same path, he could not bear and killed the daughter.
