Munger: A strange incident has come to light from Munger in Bihar. Here, just 4 days after the wedding, a newlywed woman caught her lover's hand and ran away. The shocking thing was that the whole incident took place in front of the husband. The helpless husband also tried to chase them, but by then both of them managed to escape from the spot. The police, who are investigating the case, have arrested the new bride and her lover.    

The entire incident took place in kotwali police station area. Narendra Kumar (name changed), a resident of Poddar Colony here, was married to Rani (name changed), a resident of Nauwagarhi under Naya Ramnagar police station area, on June 14 last. For 4 days after the marriage, the newlyweds stayed in the in-laws' house. He then went to his house on June 18. On June 21, she came back to her in-laws' house and on the second day, she fled with her boyfriend on the 22nd. The bride said to her husband, 'Come to the market, I have to buy bangles and some stuff.' My husband took her to the market. Where the newlyweds said to her husband, 'You like bangles.' As soon as the husband started liking the bangle, the bride ran away holding the hand of her lover who was waiting behind. The husband also followed, but by then both of them had fled in the car.

The victim along with his mother and sister reached Kotwali to lodge a complaint in the matter. The police were told that we were buying Anjali Banguri House at Deendayal Chowk in Kotwali police station area when my wife grabbed another man's hand and sat in a Scorpio car parked on the road and left. She was also wearing wedding jewellery and had also brought some documents, which she took with her. In this connection, the bride's mother-in-law said, "We have only one boy. She got married with great fanfare, but the daughter-in-law went wrong. If she had to go with her boyfriend, she wouldn't get married. Our family has been cheated by his family. Now our family is being humiliated. The bride's boyfriend Muneshwar Kumar (name changed) said, "I am a driver by profession and drive someone else's car. We had an affair for the last six years, but the girl's family was not ready to marry me. He forcibly married another boy i.e. Narendra Kumar. Thereafter, she used to call her in-laws repeatedly and cry and tell her to die, after which we ran away and went to Begusarai and came to Nauwagarhi today itself. At present, the lover is being taken into custody and interrogated.
