With film Gentleman director Guru Deshpande turned producer, actors Prajwal Devaraj and Nishvika Naidu took on roles that challenged each of them, and director Jadesh Kumar attempted to show a unique story about a man with a sleeping disorder, who has to battle an issue. How much research has been done into the subject since the film inspired by an article? Prajwal: When I first heard the story, I was very impressed with the subject, as I had never heard of the syndrome. I have done enough research that I need as an actor in presenting this onscreen. Oddly, after the trailer launched, a former classmate reached out to me to tell her that her husband is suffering from the syndrome. Jadesh: In India, there are 10 alleged cases of the syndrome. In the film, however, we depict it as the first case to be reported in Karnataka. We worked on the script for a year to ensure that Pragal would truly embody everything that one does with a syndrome.

But this does not mean that the film is only about his medical condition; This is as much as he finds it difficult to find time for his love, family and his personal life. Amidst all the drama, he also fights against a human trafficking mafia, which gives a thrilling edge to the story. Nishika: To be honest, I had no idea that such a syndrome or mafia angle in this film. Detected. Guru: After releasing the teaser, we got a call from someone named Rajiv, who has the syndrome and he sleeps for 20 hours per day. He also shared videos with us. As it turns out, there is another boy from Belagavi who has the syndrome. People are now waiting impatiently to watch the film, because they want to know what solution we have given to the syndrome. How difficult was it to write a story around rare syndrome?

Jadesh said, " It was easy, because the character is a novel. He needs to do whatever is necessary in six hours. It also has a thriller element that keeps viewers hooked. Guru: The film also throws light on relationships. The film features a baby girl named Aaradhya, whose role will kill a raga with the audience. Prajwal, you were made to shoot in a garbage dump and in a sewer drain. Prajwal: The place where we shot, There were so many mounds of garbage, that we needed to bring earth mowing equipment to clean and make something to shoot. Imagine long-decomposing garbage - which smells bad - and then shooting all day. One of the scenes required me to sleep on a pile of garbage, which was quite challenging."
