Mumbai: Kannada actor Prakash Belvad, who appeared in The Kashmir Files film, has apologized to Hindus for keeping silent on the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits for a long time after the film's release. In this video the actor has said that, 'I am privileged to be a part of 'The Kashmir Files'. When I was sent the script by Vivek Agnihotri, I was shocked because till then I did not have information about the horrors and exodus that happened to Kashmiri Pandits in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in the 1990s. He said that, 'I feel embarrassed and also feel guilty, because I was a journalist at that time and took pride in being associated with contemporary events. But now I see that this was not the case then. I think it is appropriate for me to apologize to this community for keeping quiet on this issue for a long time.'
