Actor Sanjay Dutt was charged with the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA)  as he had connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. After, the allegations, almost everyone called him  a terrorist. Well, Sanjay Dutt's sister, Congress leader and former Member of Parliament (MP) Mumbai, Priya Dutt said that  late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray was the only one  who supported them. Remembering him, Priya shared, "Balasaheb (supporting Sanjay) made a huge impact and a difference to Sanjay and to all of us. I think we were forever grateful and indebted to him for that. The bond between my father and him became so strong that sometimes my father used to go (to Balasaheb’s place) and share a glass of wine with him." 
She added, " I was so frustrated that I got into the car and I don’t know how I landed up at Balasaheb’s house, alone. I had never gone there before. For me to be able to reach out to him, it meant a lot."
