He further said, 'Blessings and love to Rishabh Pant. May God heal him soon. The first match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia will be played in Nagpur today.'

Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a car accident on the morning of 30 December 2022. He was on his way to his hometown Roorkee from New Delhi and was driving his Mercedes car. Rishabh Pant's car collided with the divider on the Dehradun highway and caught fire. 25-year-old Rishabh Pant suffered serious injuries on the forehead, fractured knee ligament, his right wrist, ankle, and toe. Rishabh Pant is now slowly recovering from his injury.
