Former Team India captain Kapil Dev has suddenly created a stir in the cricket world with one of his statements. Former India captain Kapil Dev has suddenly lashed out at a player of Team India. Kapil Dev even said that I will go and slap him. Everyone has been surprised by this kind of statement from India's World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev. Actually, Kapil Dev has given this statement about Team India's explosive wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant.   

Kapil Dev has said, 'I want Rishabh Pant to recover soon and when he recovers, I will go and slap him hard, because he should take care of himself. Look, your injury has spoiled the entire combination of the entire team. There is anger also because why do these young boys make such mistakes today?' He further said, 'Blessings and love to Rishabh Pant. May God heal him soon. The first match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia will be played in Nagpur today.'

The absence of Rishabh Pant is a big loss for the Indian team because Rishabh Pant is a strong wicketkeeper in the Test format as well as a very deadly batsman. Rishabh Pant scores run at a rapid pace in the Test format and Team India will miss him in this important four-match Test series against Australia.

Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a car accident on the morning of 30 December 2022. He was on his way to his hometown Roorkee from New Delhi and was driving his Mercedes car. Rishabh Pant's car collided with the divider on the Dehradun highway and caught fire. 25-year-old Rishabh Pant suffered serious injuries on the forehead, fractured knee ligament, his right wrist, ankle, and toe. Rishabh Pant is now slowly recovering from his injury.
