Mumbai: Politics is heating up in Maharashtra over Hanuman Chalisa and loudspeaker controversy. Independent MLA from Badnera Ravi Rana and his wife and MP Navneet Rana have today announced to recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, the private residence of CM Uddhav Thackeray. Thereafter, police force has been deployed in huge numbers. At the same time, after this announcement, some women leaders of Shiv Sena are also standing outside 'Matoshree'. Meanwhile, angry Shiv Sainiks also attacked the car of BJP leader Mohit Kamboj passing here late in the night.

Independent MP Navneet Rana said that we are being harassed, my question is how did the Shiv Sainiks break the barricades and enter the gate? I will go downstairs and go outside the gate and will also recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree. No one can stop us. The Chief Minister only knows to put people in jail.

On the other hand, MP Navneet Rana's husband and MLA Ravi Rana, while posting on social media, wrote that the police is not allowing us to step out of the house. Shiv Sena workers are trying to attack our residence. We have always considered 'Matoshree' as a temple. Uddhav Thackeray only wants political benefits. Navneet and Ravi Rana are presently present at their Khar residence. Hope they will leave for Matoshree in sometime. At the same time, in view of the security, the Union Home Ministry has decided to provide Y category security to Navneet Rana. Shiv Sainiks are present in huge numbers outside their house and have continuously raised slogans against the Rana couple. Shiv Sainiks said that if they come out of their house also, then we will explain them in our own style.
