Actor Ranbir Kapoor says that he will take the legacy of RK Studios forward, though he feels sad about the sale. It was an event called "Cricket Dil Se' organized by electronic appliance brand Panasonic where he interacted with media on Saturday in Mumbai.

The actor, who was often seen with his father in New York, where he was getting treated, had this to say about Rishi Kapoor: “It has been a hard one year for him. His desire and only endeavour in life are to act in movies. So this one-year sabbatical has been a little setback for him. But he is doing really well for himself.”

The iconic RK Studios is being sold and will be turned into a housing complex by Godrej.  "RK Studios was RK Studios because of my grandfather. He built the studio because of his films and talent. Of course, you feel sad that the studio will not be there anymore, but I think, RK is more in the spirit and that is something I would really like to take forward. I would like to take the legacy forward, in producing film and making movies," said Ranbir.

He said the year has been chaotic for him as he is shooting simultaneously for 'Brahmastra' and 'Shamshera' touted as two big power-packed films.

"Both of these are big action films and I am not used to that genre, so it's been quite a hard year for me. But I am having fun while shooting. I am equally excited for both the films." He said he went to Berlin for some work relating to 'Brahmastra' and over there.
