New Delhi: A new video of Mohammad Iftikharuddin, former police commissioner and chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, has surfaced, an IAS officer promoting the change of mind. The video shows Iftikharuddin sitting down and another person praising him. In the video, which went viral on Thursday, the man says that Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are also fans of Commissioner Saheb (Iftikharuddin). According to the man, Aamir had also sent his brother-in-law to Kanpur to reach out to Iftikharuddin. The video has now come to the notice of the SIT as well. A forensic inquiry has been decided. However, the authenticity is yet to be confirmed.

According to media reports, the person in the video says that Aamir Khan was so impressed by IAS's words that he called the Commissioner (Iftikharuddin) and sent his brother-in-law to meet him. The man claims that Shah Rukh Khan also started reading the Quran because of Mohammad Iftikharuddin. However, it is not yet clear whether the person in the video who is trying to convince people by naming Aamir and Shah Rukh is a Bollywood star or someone else. SIT is currently checking the video. The video will be sent to the forensic lab for examination. SIT Chairman and Director General of Police, CBCID, Gl Meena ordered some documents from the Divisional Commissioner's Office at the Circuit House itself and included them in the investigation.

Earlier, 3 videos of Senior IAS Iftikharuddin of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh surfaced in which he is allegedly seen calling Muslim fundamentalists to government accommodation during his posting as divisional commissioner and saying things that promote conversion. He has been accused of misusing his position to promote Islamic radicalization. The Math Temple Coordination Committee complained to CM Yogi Adityanath in this regard. Now, the matter is under SIT investigation.
