New Delhi: IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar has been embroiled in a lot of controversy for walking a dog at Thyagraj Stadium in Delhi. But perhaps Sanjeev Khirwar would not have thought while taking the dog for a walk that he would have to go 3500 KM away from his family due to this habit. Actually, IAS Sanjeev Khirwar has been transferred to Ladakh after the controversy escalated. At the same time, his wife Rinku Dhugga has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. The distance between the two states is about 3,465 km. Earlier both were posted in Delhi.

In fact, a coach who trained at Thyagaraj Stadium in Delhi claimed that earlier he used to practice till 8 or 8.30 pm. But now he is asked to vacate the ground at 7 o'clock so that IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar can walk his dog there. The coach said that this is causing problems in his training and practice routine. The coaches and athletes associated with the Thyagaraj Stadium had expressed their concerns. He had said that earlier he used to practice till 8.30 or sometimes even till 9. Then he used to take breaks every half an hour. But now can't do that. At the same time, there are some who have started going to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, 3 km away.

After the matter surfaced in the media, the controversy had increased a lot. After this the central government swung into action. The government transferred IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar to Ladakh and his wife to Arunachal Pradesh. It is being told that the Chief Secretary has also given a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs on this matter and on the basis of this further action will be taken.
