Jaipur: A tragic incident has come to light on the first day of the New Year from the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The daughter-in-law of an IAS officer in the district has consumed poison and committed suicide. The deceased got married two months ago. According to information received so far, the young woman had called her father 2 days before she was self-sufficient and told him that she could no longer bear the pain of her stomach, it was hurting her a lot.

In fact, the incident took place in Ratanada police station area of Jodhpur, where Priyanka, daughter-in-law of IAS officer Mul Singh, who lives in the high court colony, consumed poison on January 1. The family rushed her to a hospital where the girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment after the incident was detected. IAS officer Mul Singh is currently posted in Ajmer and his son and daughter-in-law lived in Jodhpur. Mul Singh's son was married to Priyanka 2 months ago on November 14. Mul Singh's son is also a government employee in the education department. Priyanka was also reportedly happy with the marriage and there were no problems in her marriage.

The question is also bothering the family members as to why their daughter-in-law committed suicide on New Year's Day. Police are investigating the case from every aspect in which the deceased's marriage, in-laws and family members are being questioned and case is being investigated.
