Imprisoned IAS officer Pooja Singhal admitted to RIMS after her condition deteriorates

Ranchi: Suspended IAS Pooja Singhal, who was in jail for the money laundering and MNREGA scam, suddenly became ill late on Tuesday evening. She has been admitted to the cardiology department of RIMS after she had chest pain and difficulty breathing. Her bail plea was heard in the Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday, but she could not get bail.

Let us tell you that Pooja Singhal Birsa Munda was lodged in the Central Kara Hotwar Jail in the money laundering and MNREGA scam. When her health deteriorated, she was admitted to the cardiology department of RIMS for better treatment. The doctors present in the emergency have got her done with many other tests including an echo test. Unable to move, Pooja was taken to the treatment room of the hospital by sitting in a wheelchair.

On receiving the news of Pooja's deteriorating health, the family members started reaching the hospital. Her husband Abhishek Jha has reached the hospital along with his other family members. Ranchi RIMS senior doctor Prakash Kumar is treating her. He told that the medical examination of Pooja is being done. The disease will be known only after the report is received. Suspended IAS Pooja Singhal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on May 11 in the case of money laundering and MNREGA scam. Since then Pooja Singhal is lodged in jail.
