The registrations for the IBPS Specialist Officer Exam 2017 would be closing today. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS had released the notification for the recruitment examination of Specialist Officer or SO on October 27, 2017. The online applications opened on November 7, 2017. Candidates interested can still apply online on ibps.in. A total of 1315 posts would be filled by means of the SO Exam 2017. The preliminary exam would be conducted by IBPS on December 30 and 31, 2017.

Candidates are further advised to go through the official notification in detail before filling the online application forms. The dates for applying would not be revised and the window would close at end of business hours today. The fee application can be paid by the candidates online by using electronic means like net banking, debit or credit card. The selection process includes online preliminary examination followed by the main examination. The candidates shortlisted for the main examination would then be called for an interview. The entire process would end by April 2018.

Applications are invited for the posts of IT officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/ Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer. All the posts are for Scale I level. Break up of the vacancies is provided below.

Candidates are again reminded to carefully go through the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification before filling the online application form. Any discrepancy in the requirement would lead to rejection of the application. The facility to download and print the filled online application would be available on the website until December 12, 2017. The online prelims are going to be conducted on December 30 and 31. The main Examination for IBPS SO 2017 is scheduled for January 28, 2017.
