The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has started its Common Proficiency test registration from yesterday, April 4, on its online platform. Candidates willing to register for the examination can do so until April 26 at the official website of ICAI: icaiexam.icai.org

IMPORTANT DETAILS OF THE EXAM:
Candidates will be allowed to choose either English or Hindi as the medium of examination. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second session will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. For the morning session, important topics that will be covered are Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws; for afternoon session; General Economics, Quantitative Aptitude will be covered
 

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE EXAM:
Correction window for applications will open in the first week of May
In case candidates miss it, they can correct their application by paying a fee in the fourth week of May
ICAI CPT will be conducted on June 17
ICAI CPT Results to be declared in mid-July 2018
 

APPLICATION FEE FOR ICAI CPT 2018:
The application fee for CPT is Rs. 1000 for centers in India, Rs. 1700 for centers in Kathmandu, and 300 dollars for centers in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, and Muscat.
